Zach and Kacie Scherler-Abney run Re:Farm and Re:Supply in southwest Oklahoma, operating a grazing business alongside retail stores in Norman, Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas.


Zach recommended Johann Zietsman’s work, especially for learning and applying non-selective, ultra high-density grazing as one effective tool in the toolbox.

"I think that book I owe a lot of what we've done over the eight years of ranching to that book, specifically in that grazing style."

2️⃣ What is your favorite tool for the farm or ranch?

Zach said Halter has been their most useful tool, freeing up time, improving management, and helping them avoid burnout while still grazing the way they want.

"Halter has given us the ability to look at it and go, we're, we can actually do more now because it's freed up so much of our other time."

3️⃣ What would you tell someone just getting started?

Kacie encouraged people to start where they can, avoid feeling like they must do everything at once, and use safe-to-fail learning to test changes without overcommitting.

"All you have to do is start where you can start."
