Karson Rippstein of Redmond Agriculture

Karson Rippstein is a dedicated rancher and educator based in the high desert of Utah, where he helps run Ripp Ranch—a family-owned operation he co-founded with his father and brother. Though ranching runs deep in his family, Ripp Ranch was built from the ground up, blending generations of experience with a fresh start. Karson manages both a commercial cow herd and a registered Angus herd, selling quality bulls to producers throughout the region. While the ranch began with a conventional approach, Karson’s perspective shifted nearly six years ago when he joined the team at Redmond. There, he found a passion for educating others on how to work with nature—rather than against it—to improve livestock performance, soil health, and human well-being. Today, Karson is not only a steward of the land but also a voice for regenerative practices that strengthen the connection between animals, the environment, and the people who depend on both.
