I have spent a lifetime around cattle in one capacity or another. Early on in my journey, I spent the time to get proficient at "reacting to health problems" in cattle AFTER the fact. "A stitch in time saves nine" and "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" are more in line with my current thinking and what I do and teach today. I have been blessed with a wide variety of mentors in my life. I took the best parts of each and have blended them with my understanding and a bit of common sense to boil it down to the layman's terms. Hopefully I can help the listeners to not make the same mistakes I have made in the past.
