Ted and Melissa Miller own and operate Delta Dairy LLC, a 600 cow seasonal grass based New Zealand style dairy farm located in Northeast Louisiana. Looking to take advantage of a long grass growing season and an abundant water source on the lower Mississippi River Delta, the Millers have a passion to showcase sustainable dairy production with their low input model which capitalizes on high labor efficiency and excellent animal health. Ted and Melissa both grew up in Central Pennsylvania and dairyed there for seven years before taking an opportunity to develop a larger grass farm in the South where they have been since 2009.
